Coronavirus Statement Guidance update (17/7/2021) We have today issued new guidance documents in line with new government guidance on sport for all age groups. In summary: Clubs, groups and coaching/leading activity can now take place in unlimited numbers if it is within a Covid-19 secure environment, otherwise the limit of groups of six (including a coach or leader) remains. Each coach/leader is able to train 12 people at one time so, in a club/running group setting, multiple coaching/training groups can be run if the requisite number of coaches/leaders are present. Social distancing and hygiene is still to be maintained and is key within a training environment. Read the guidance Here

Brian and Fraser have made themselves available to facilitate 2 bubble groups of 5 athletes each. This gives 10 members the opportunity to use the field down at buskholmeFrom Monday 22nd June , 6.45pm Kirkby Stephen Sch.
There will be an informal 6-8 mile run from KS school entrance.From Wednesday 24th June , 6.00pm Kirkby Stephen Sch.
There will be an informal 3-5 mile run from KS school entrance.
We ask everyone to follow the current guidelines. Please ensure that you fulfil the 2 metre distance rule at all times , there will be no equipment used however it would be wise to bring your own hand sanitiser. So lets get back training and safely.

Welcome to Our Club
Formed in 1986 by running enthusiasts. We welcome members of all ages and abilities where the focus is on enjoyment. We meet in various locations centred around Kirkby Stephen and Sedbergh.
We cater for both road and fell runners. Session offers varying runs and training to suit different individuals and goals,
including gentle road runs of a few miles, longer routes across the countryside and the local fells.
Newcomers can try us out a couple of times to see if it suits them. Just contact us know beforehand and we will look out for you.
Please be aware that in winter the night runs will require adequate clothing including a viz jacket and head torch.
We have a variety of training sessions throughout the week for both adults and juniors. Sessions are not only running but include 'Core' workouts such as circuit training and pilates. More information can be found on our Training page
