Training

Coronavirus Statement : In accordance with current government advice Howgill Harriers training sessions are now starting to open up

At the moment we have not started junior sessions. All sessions are outdoors and limited to groups of 6 people

Below is our training sessions. If you want to try them then you are welcome to come along. Please bring high viz jackets and head torches for outdoor activities during the winter months. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Monday
Senior Run

 6:45 pm  (Adults)

Club run starting from various loactions

In the winter we run on the quiet country lanes.
Runs vary between 5 - 8 miles depending on weather and group abilities.
Please bring High viz jacket and head torch during winter months.

In the summer we head off road starting at various points(see below).

23rd Aug Borrowdale near Roundthwaite (Meet Here)


Pub Fun Run

Seniors only

Starting 7pm from The Dalesman at Sedbergh.

All abilities welcome, will cater runs accordingly. Pub afterwards

Tuesday
Senior Run

Tuesday night run, 6.30 pm, meet at the Fat Lamb.

Wed
Senior Run (Improvers)

6:00 - 6:50pm

Club run starting from Kirkby Stephen Grammar School.

Suitable for improvers.

Runs vary between 3 - 4 miles.

Please bring High viz jacket and head torch during winter months.

Thursday
Juniors

Outdoor session at Sedbergh, 6.30-7.30 meet at Busk Lane Arts Centre. All juniors to be equipped with water bottle and kit (waterproof jacket, hat, gloves in a bum bag or running backpack).

Informal turn up and run, meet 6.30 @ Busk Lane Arts Centre , Sedbergh
